688SB hose, from Gates, is designed for the transfer of bulk materials via suction, gravity or pneumatic systems where abrasion resistance is the primary requirement. The tube is made of natural rubber (type D-3), reinforced with a synthetic, high-tensile textile with a steel wire helix. The cover is made of SBR (type D). This hose can handle temperatures between -40 deg F and 150 deg F (-40 deg C to 66 deg C), continuous service.
