Neoprene was developed in 1932. It is a rubber-like material that exhibits resistance to oils, ozone, oxidation, flame (self-extinguishing), and low temperatures. Neoprene is used for seals, o-rings, grommets, bearing pads, bushings, balls, mounts and gasketing.
