SEPCO #ML402 Packing, Braided, 450 deg F, 1855 fpm Shaft, 4 to 10, Multi-Lok Braid Acrylic

Sepco’s Style ML402 packing is made of a multi-lok braid, with non-asbestos fibers that have been treated with a specialty blend of saxoline-based lubricants. Each strand of the yarn Is individually coated with graphite, and the braid is surface-coated with graphite. This lubrication formula makes the extra difference by preventing wicking and providing superior sealability. ML402 packing works well on rotary and reciprocating equipment, and is recommended for mild acids, alkalines, steam, brine and oil. It can handle maximum temperatures of 450 deg F (232 deg C), shaft speeds up to 1885 FPM and pH ranges from 4 to 10.
