Contitech's Plicord Furnace Door hose is designed to carry cooling water to furnace doors in steel mills and similar service operations where the outside of the hose is subjected to open flame and elevated temperatures. The tube is made of Plioflex, the reinforcement of spiral plied synthetic fabric, and the cover of fiberglass-impregnated fabric ply with a heat and flame resistant rubber cover. The temperature range is -25 to 200 deg F (-32 to 93 deg C).
