An extra-heavy, drop-forged steel head (48 oz, 1361 g), hardened and tempered, with a short handle for working in close quarters. The select hickory handle has been triple-wedged and lacquered and a special process removed the moisture from the handle and replaced it with oil to protect it during temperature extremes. Overall length is 10-3/4 in (273 mm).
