Devcon/Permatex’s “Hi-Tack” sealant is a red liquid that holds gaskets in place during assembly. It seals and bonds rubber, cork, paper, felt, and metal gaskets. It sets quickly (5 minutes) to a very tacky film that resists temperatures up to 500 deg F and contains no ozone-depleting compounds. Packaged in a 1-pint brush can.
