Jackson Safety’s faceshields are used when the entire face needs protection from flying objects, metal sparks and chemical or biological splash. They attach to Jackson’s ratchet headgear, which features a spark deflector and a soft, absorbent foam cushioned sweatband. Note: Even though faceshields meet ANSI Z87.1 standards, they are considered secondary eye protection and must be used in conjunction with safety glasses or goggles to provide the necessary protection.
