Superior Bumper’s Adjusta-Matic dock bumper is made of select laminate pads threaded on a flat 1/4 in x 3 in structural steel bar, designed to compensate for lateral and/or vertical thrust of approximately 1/2 in to 3/4 in, It is compressed under at least 1,500 lb of pressure and secured to independent end plates by a pien weld at each end. Their Threaded Rod bumper is made of select laminated pads threaded on rods and secured with jam nuts on each end. Their bumpers WILL NOT give in a lateral or vertical thrust when hit by trucks. They are non-sagging and will absorb shock easily.
