ICO-Patch is a thee-part, trowelled in-place epoxy floor patching material formulated to economically repair floor surfaces where a dp fill is required prior to top coating. It has several advantages over conventional cementitious based fills, including zero shrinkage, ability to be applied over damp surfaces, higher bond strengths to the substrate and 100% compatibility with the protective epoxy top coat. ICO-Patch is available with or without aggregate, enabling the users to use local sand sources for greater cost savings. It can be top coated within 6 hr at 77 deg F with any of ICO's epoxy coatings or toppings. ICO-Patch is particularly suited for repitching or leveling floors in wet processing areas. As a USDA approved product with no solvent and no odor, ICO-Patch is well suited for food and beverage plant repairs. For example, it can be used to make spot repairs when installing new drains or when repairing pump bases. It must be coated with one of ICO's more chemically resistant -toppings when moisture or chemicals are present. ICO-Patch can also be used for raising floor levels where cementitious materials cannot be used, such as below 2 in thk.
