HEAVY DUTY SOLDERING IRON P200|200-WTT W/HT499X TIP 5/8" DIA|Hexacon’s Heavy Duty series of Plug-Tip Soldering Irons are the most rugged, heavy duty irons available for industrial hand soldering applications. They are specifically designed for continuous operation with fast heat recovery. The element’s outer case is machined from a solid piece of high strength, nickel-plated alloy steel and has a unique hexagonal shape that can be easily held with a vise or a wrench. Other unique features include an energy-absorbing nut that absorbs shock and extends element life, and a handle designed to remain cool and comfortable during use. The standard “P” style is an in-line design, while the “H” style has a hatchet-type handle that reduces operator fatigue.Both models in the 200 series offer 200W of power, with a 5/8” tip diameter, and an idle temp of 925°F.
