They are specifically designed for continuous operation with fast heat recovery. The element’s outer case is machined from a solid piece of high strength, nickel-plated alloy steel and has a unique hexagonal shape that can be easily held with a vise or a wrench. Other unique features include an energy-absorbing nut that absorbs shock and extends element life, and a handle designed to remain cool and comfortable during use. The standard “P” style is an in-line design, while the “H” style has a hatchet-type handle that reduces operator fatigue.Model SI-P155 offers 150W of power, with a 3/8” tip diameter, and an idle temp of 950°F.
