RHINOHYDE SOLID METAL 3/8X4X10|Tandem’s Rhino Hyde sheets are tough, resilient elastomeric urethanes specifically designed for use in applications requiring abrasion resistance. It offers lightweight, easy installation, excellent impact resistance, good low temperature properties, noise reduction, corrosion resistance and chemical resistance to aliphatic hydrocarbons, mild acids and bases. It is recommended for use in material handling of any abrasive material, including grain, soybeans, coal, taconite pellets, copper ore, phosphate rock, sand, gravel, salt and wood chips. The Solid Metal-Back line provides a 16-gauge or 2mm solid backing, to be used where attachment through the wear surface is undesireable, and flexibility is not required. Attachment is recommended by screwing from the substrate into the solid metal backing.
