PYROGUARD FR C OVERALL XXL 25/BX|International Enviroguard’s PyroGuard FR garments are made with a tough, breathable, lightweight clothlike material. The base is made of hydro entangled wood pulp, while the top layer is polyester that is topically treated with a phosphate-based flame retardant chemical. This combination of materials allows the fabric to char at temperatures below the fabric’s ignition point. It deprives flames of a fuel source and provides a rigid structure for the polymers to adhere to, so there is no flaming or molten drip.
