General Service PTFE/Synthetic Valve Packing, #ML2225 (PACKING 3/8 1#)

PACKING 3/8 1#|Sepco’s Style ML2225 packing is made of a multi-lok braid, with yarns that have been coated with PTFE suspensoid. This impregnation system assures even distribution of the PTFE, by saturating and sealing the fibers. This adds extra protection from chemical action, as does the additional surface coating of PTFE that is applied after braiding. To assure good break-in characteristics, a special high-temperature synthetic lubricant is also added. ML2225 packing works well on rotary and reciprocating equipment and agitators. It is recommended for caustics, mild acids, difficult chemicals, air, gases, solvents, oils and general chemical plant applications. It can handle maximum temperatures of 500°F (260°C), shaft speeds up to 1885 FPM and pH ranges from 3 to 11.
