151RB Braided Steam Packing (PACKING 3/8 5#)

PACKING 3/8 5#|Sepco’s 151RB packing is made of closely woven cloth which is treated with a heat and oil resistant rubber friction. Built into the packing is a resilient rubber backing which provides a cushion against high pressure. The packing is then lubricated with a modified glycerol lubricant and surface-finished with graphite. It is recommended for high pressure applications on reciprocating rods and plungers of steam engines, pumps, compressors and similar equipment, or with expansion joints or steam hammers. Max pressure – 500 PSI. Max Temp - 600°F.
